Born in Milan, Italy, Joel Franco has spent the last 7 years in the United States working in the Film & Television Industry. Mr. Franco's education background includes a B.A. at the University of Maryland Baltimore County; a graduate of the USC-Universal Producing and Directing Program; and a M.F.A in Film Production from the prestigious School of Film and Television at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, Mr. Franco has built strong relationship with Producers, Actors, DPs, Sound Designers, Editors, and Music Composers.

In 2006 Mr. Franco, together with Solidaris LLC, founded Chesapeake Films LLC, in Las Vegas, NV. Chesapeake Films is a production company that prides itself with the production capabilities to create a new generation of feature films, by combining world class talent with memorable stories that appeal to audiences of all ages.

Currently Franco and Chesapeake Films, are in development of two feature length films, a feature length documentary and a Television Program.
