Wed 4th Nov 09 Dana, you should NEVER have to pay for an agent, the way agents earn is by taking a percentage of your earnings through jobs they get you.... the fee is usually around the 20% mark sometimes this differs for commercials / theatre / corporate work. Any agent that charges you a fee is a crook. Be careful!

Wed 4th Nov 09 I agree with Elliott, Agents who charge up front fee's can not be trusted. You should buy a copy of 'contacts' all agents are listed in there.
