Iannis was born in Australia by Greek parents and raised in both countries. He first arrived to London in 1998 and he studied Creative Writing in Middlesex University as well as taking a course of acting at The Bull in High Barnet. He followed that course with an 'Acting for the Screen' course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. This year Iannis has attended directing courses for Raindance as well as writing and directing his first short film, 'Exodus', which won the 'Johnson' award for Best Drama at the Kent film festival. Iannis is currently putting on a play "A Priest in Love" which will debut on the 11th of December in the Swedenborg Hall, Holborn, and which he wrote, will act in and will direct. He is also the co-founder of the House of Writers, a web showcase of written material in the fields of screenwriting, graphic novels and poetry.
