Born in London, Louise Michelle is from the third generation of the Michelle family acting dynasty. Her early stage performances include a number of musical and pantomime roles in which she frequently delighted audiences with her impudent and ingenious parodies.
More recently Louise has received much acclaim for her stage portrayals of Ophelia in Hamlet, Sarah Kane in Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis and Primrose in the latest adaptation of Henry Fielding’s play Lock Up Your Daughters entitled The Rakes Return for Matthew Townshend Productions, giving her the opportunity of working alongside the legendary Neil Innes.
Television work includes Trial and Retribution for La Plante Productions and The Fixer for Kudos Productions, both for ITV 1 added to which is a vast array of commercials and voiceovers. Louise has recently returned from New York where she attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and is currently appearing as Miranda in Shakespeare’s The Tempest for MTP.
Future plans include the role of Jessica Newman in a short drama for Sky TV entitled Resentment by Paul Burton. Here she will be playing opposite her real life mother Vicki Michelle of Allo Allo fame.
