His love for story telling came at an early age. While living in Poland he remembers laying on the floor, as a little boy, as the television set played in front of him and drawing up cartoons and writing stories of how he would see the story being played out in his drawings with the film he was viewing. It wasn't until his move to North America where his decision in pursing a career in film was set. After seeing a screening of Jurassic Park at the age of 7 and realizing the true power and potential that film making has to offer, bringing back realistic looking dinosaurs 65 million years after their extinction, that his enjoyment for movies turned to curiosity, from curiosity to passion, and eventually from passion to love. He would often grab the families Hi8 video camera and film whatever possible to capture the mysteries and beauty that life had to offer. During his final year in high school, he was introduced to a course that allowed him to achieve credits by filming movies. Along with his friends they created 'Alien', a film that contained a mix of CGI and live-picture that gained them festival recognition, scholarship awards, and having the honor of representing their school in skills contests. Wanting to start with the basics in the entertainment industry, he took upon theater school for two years before attending film school in Red Deer, Alberta. During his time he would learn the fundamentals of all the departments in film making that allowed him to experiment with different mediums, style and story telling techniques. During his final year, he delivered a fictional biopic about a rehabilitated mob boss in 'The Glory Years' that won him a scholarship and a 'Star of the Future' award. Since then he's been nominated for numerous awards as a professional filmmaker and writing, producing and directing entertaining films that have been shown at numerous festivals around the world.
