34th Laurence Olivier Awards very nearly upon us

The biggest Theatre awards of year, presented by Anthony Head, will be have a string of high profile stars in attendance, celebrating what has been an outstanding year in Theatre in the UK. Guests will include Rowan Atkinson, Jude Law, Matthew Bourne, Tom Stoppard, Elaine Paige, Lesley Sharp, Maureen Lipman, Patina Miller, Barbara Windsor, Jonathan Pryce, Jill Halfpenny, James Earl Jones, Mark Rylance, Aled Jones, Juliet Stevenson, David Essex, Imelda Staunton, Rupert Friend, Rosamund Pike, Duncan James, Arlene Phillips and Simon Paisley Day, amounst many others. We will be back stage in the press room of the prestigious event, getting the reactions from the winners and ensuring we bring you a full report. Performances will come from ex-Spice girl Melanie C, who has been wooing audiences in Willy Russell’s musical Blood Brothers, as well as the cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Sister Act and Les Miserables. The latter sees the West End company team up with the touring cast to perform together for the very first time. You can view the awards on the video below.
