HELP ME TO UNRAVEL IT“PARADOX”By Aubrey Seller22/12/09 I was looking forward to the last instalment of this programme having watched the previous four episodes. The enjoyment I experienced from the first two was gradually dissipated by those that followed and I hoped that the time I had spent would be rewarded by the revelations in the last hour. Sadly this was not the case and I remain more bewildered than ever. Tamzin Outhwaite’s performance as the leader of a small force of detectives chosen to unravel the meaning of images which magically appear on a T.V. screen fluctuated between near hysteria, tongue in cheek motivation and a sexual relationship with adulterous D.S. Ben Holt played by Mark Bonnar. She is certainly versatile (now playing in the “Chicago” musical). The mysterious astrophysicist played by Emun Elliott who may have been killed in the last scene offered nothing by way of explanation of the goings on, other than mumbled irrelevant remarks about a manipulated worm hole in the stars as being the possible source of information which is coming to his laboratory. The other member of the police team D.C. Callum Gada (Chike Okonkwo) portrayed as a sympathetic cop up to this point takes the law into his own hands and kills a murder suspect by suffocation. I assume he was guided by the unknown source. There are many unanswered questions relating to this production perhaps intentionally, leaving open the opportunity for a sequel. I should be grateful if those of you who have spent the time watching over the past weeks would answer two questions. What was it really all about and who sent the messages?
